Donna R. Manion, President
Professional Summary
Donna Manion founded RYB Consulting in 2006
after more than 20 years in human resources and management. She
has taken that experience and built a consulting practice that
helps entrepreneurial companies grow. Her expertise is focused
on helping small companies that typically do not have in-house
strategic resources to re-envision their businesses allowing
them to review their plans, people and practices, and implement
strategies for growth. She has extensive experience designing
and implementing strategic initiatives that align strategic and
operating plans, developing talent and leaders, development and
implementation performance and reward programs, and leading
through culture and organizational change.
Ms. Manion has held human resource
leadership positions in a number of industries including
broadcast, publishing, telecommunications, and internet
services. She has worked for consulting firms serving the
private and public sectors. She held a key leadership position
establishing media convergence in an organization
internationally known for its convergence initiatives. She has
guided leadership teams of professional services firms to help
their teams collaborate and communicate more effectively.
Community Affiliations
As the Chairman of CreativeTampaBay, Ms.
Manion builds partnerships with community members to build a
creative economy for Tampa Bay. Not-for-profit CreativeTampaBay
connects creative talent, businesses, and communities to foster
economic development for creative industries. She has been with
CreativeTampaBay since its inception in 2003 as a member of the
Board of Directors. As a consensus builder and collaborator she
has lead CTB to solid footing through strategy development and

From economist Joe Cortright’s research,
Portland’s Green Dividend, she has founded a new grass roots
organization called the Green Dividend Coalition. Comprised of
several businesses, planning and design organizations,
conservation groups, and local public officials, the GDC
advocates for and generates awareness about the economic
benefits of going green.

Originally from the Washington, D.C. area,
Ms. Manion has an undergraduate degree from George Mason
University. She currently serves as immediate past Chairman of

Previous work force experience includes
participation on the Workforce Committee of the Florida High
Tech Corridor Council and the Workforce Committee for the
Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Her consulting success is the
result of building relationships over time with delighted
